Introducing...Saint Belle

I am a firm believer that the perfect lingerie can make you feel amazing. For me it is not about other people (although that can be an added bonus!) but about how it makes me feel. If you wear tatty, worn out, over washed and slightly greying underwear or a bra that doesn't fit well, how on Earth are you going to feel good about what you put on over them?

Great lingerie can make you feel great, and if it fits well it can even change the way you carry yourself. Treating myself to some fabulous new lingerie can make feel like I am worth making the effort for. And my love of lingerie means that I am always on the hunt for new brands that offer that bit of luxury.

I recently found a great new brand that has ticked off so many items on my luxury lingerie checklist and I had to share it with you...Introducing Saint Belle

Founded in Feb 2011, Saint Belle is a luxurious new lingerie brand that celebrates the female figure and aims to empower women of all ages and shapes. Following the philosophy that lingerie is the foundation of dressing and should enhance the figure, the products are designed to make the wearer feel truly amazing.

As well as their own brand of lingerie (which is manufactured here in the UK), St Belle also stocks a great range of other luxury brands such as including Elle Macpherson, Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney and Mimi Holliday.

Vintage buys to take you through to AW with My Vintage

I know that it seems like the summer is just only finding it's feet (yes, I'm being optimistic) but all eyes in the fashion world are on the next season and what we will be wearing come autumn. My tip? Get ahead of the game and start making some buys now that will take you through to the next season.

A great way to get fashionable items that make you stand out from the crowd is by shopping in vintage shops or on vintage sites. I have been window shopping on one of my favourite vintage sites My Vintage and have put together some fabulous items that tap into four AW trends...

Ladylike

The ladylike Mad Men-esque style is back again for AW. Think matching skirt suits, tailored coats and perfect shift dresses in bright colours and modern prints to bring the look up to date. Accessorise with a classic bag and ladylike scarf. Vintage is the perfect way to tap into this look.

60s shift dress with matching jacket, £110
30s silver dancing shoes, £65
70s multi colour scarf, £22
60s green faux leather clutch, £22

Prairie

A key look that was seen on the catwalk at the AW shows was a mix of Native American influences and Little House on the Prairie. Flowing skirts, boots and handmade craft inspired pieces were mixed with modern accessories. This gorgeous dress from My Vintage is a brilliant buy and a feminine way to wear the look.

Michael Sinclair floral maxi, £95
Boots, £55
Tan Givenchy shoulder bag, £75

Bold Knitwear
Far from being the usual muted palette, this AW colour is around to stay. Bright and pattern adorned knitwear is a great way to tap into this trend (see Sonia Rykel, D&D and Jil Sander AW collections for inspiration). Try the bold knitwear look with colour blocking and a classic bag.

Pink open weave jumper, £20
Red & black checked trousers, £30
Burgundy faux leather shoulder bag, £28
Pointed stilettos, £30

Shine On

Designers were definitely in love with a bit of shine and sparkle when they put together their AW collections. And it is not just for the evening, be bold and add a bit of sparkle to your every day wardrobe as well.

1960s leatherette evening bag, £18
Metallic rose print skirt, £22
Beaded shoulder top, £34
Vicki Beth gold 1980s shoes, £36

Trend - Girl Meets Boy

This season prepare to rummage through your significant other's wardrobe. Think suits with a sexy vibe and traditionally 'masculine' shoes like loafers and brogues.

If you are feeling more daring, try out Teddy Boy detailing, and a Janelle Monae inspired quiff. Mix with feminine pieces to balance out the look and add whole lot of attitude...

Style Steal - Rachel Bilson

Brights are a key trend for this season, but you don't have to do head to toe to make an impact with colour. Rachel Bilson was spotted recently in a bright maxi skit teamed with a simple black top and some casual summer accessories.

I love that the look is not too OTT but still grabs your attention. Follow Rachel's lead and team a bright maxi skirt with a simple black top and gladiator flats for a great summer look.

The Harry Potter stars that rock the red carpet

As we say goodbye to the Harry Potter films this week I wanted to celebrate some of the fabulous fashionistas who have starred in the series who know how to wow on the red carpet...

Emma Watson

Emma Watson is now widely seen as big style hitter. Growing up and developing her fashion tastes in the public eye can't have been easy but has obviously paid off. I love that Emma isn't afraid to take risks with her choices, and wears looks that suit her age, experimenting with textures and showing off her fabulous figure (especially those amazing legs!).

It's a nice day for a white wedding...

Today saw the wedding of Charlene Whittstock (who is now the Princess of Monaco) and Prince Albert of Monaco. The bride wore a gorgeous Armani dress as she walked down the aisle in front of some serious A Listers including Naomi Campbell, Karl Lagerfeld and of course, Giorgio Armani.

And of course, theirs were not the only nuptuals this week. Yesterday saw model and all round fashion icon get hitched to Jamie Hince. The bride wore a fabulous and very Kate style Galliano dress and the groom sported a YSL suit (of course!). I really really liked her dress, despite there apperaing to be mixed feelings about it (not least because of who designed it) I felt it really suited her and she looked happy and radient, as every bride should.
