Race for Life

You may have seen my tweets or the button on the right of the blog, but bear with me! Some of my friends and I have signed up to do the Race For Life this year. I am not the most athletic of people (although I do like to try and keep fit) but my aim is to get my fitness levels up and run as much of it as I can.

Race for Life is the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK. Since 1994, women of all ages and fitness levels across the UK have come together at these inspiring events to walk, jog or run to help beat cancer.
Info from raceforlife.org

The reason that I am doing the race for life is because cancer is an illness that cancer affects so many peoples' lives. My Nan is currently being treated for lymphoma for the second time, and I will be running the race with her in mind.
